Kim Kardashian ends fragrance feud in Jean Paul Gaultier

Following last spring’s copyright controversy, it seems Kim Kardashian and Jean Paul Gaultier have buried the sweet-smelling hatchet.

Kardashian, 38, attended Sunday night’s People’s Choice Awards wearing a sexy, see-through vintage Gaultier dress that put her famous assets on full display.

Gaultier, 66, is the same designer who appeared to accuse Kardashian of pilfering the design for her KKW Body perfume bottle last April.

After the reality star released the fragrance in a container modeled after her own curvy torso, Gaultier shared a shot of his iconic Classique scent, which launched in 1993 and features a strikingly similar shape.

The French fashion legend even poked fun at the comparisons with his caption: “Keeping up with the fragrance’s news!”

After fans pointed out the similarities between the two bottles on social media, Kardashian addressed the copycat accusations in an interview with Cosmopolitan.

“Sculptures were my inspiration, but I love that bottle,” Kardashian told the publication. “It’s iconic and celebrates the woman’s body, but my inspiration was a statue. I wanted [mine] to be really personal with my exact mold, but I’ve always loved the Gaultier bottles.”
