Melissa Gorga takes her style cues from J.Lo

She may have her own boutique brimming with stylish finds, but Melissa Gorga would swap closets with a certain superstar in a heartbeat.

“My fashion icon is Jennifer Lopez,” the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star, 39, said at the Page Six Style launch party at Barneys New York on Thursday. “I mean, she’s a triple threat!”

After dropping songs like “Rockstar” and “On Display,” Gorga may no longer be pursuing a career in music, but she still shares plenty in common with J.Lo — like a longtime love of designer fashion.

Asked about her first major splurge, the Jersey native said, “I have an original Gucci bag in my closet that I got when I was 18. I thought I was hot s—t when I got it, and I’m never giving it up!”

As for the trend she expects will make the biggest splash with her store’s clientele this season? Gorga pointed to a look beloved by a different pop icon: Ariana Grande.

“A big trend at Envy right now is oversized sweaters that you wear with a dress,” she said. “And we’re gonna put a high boot on with it — amazing.”
