Sebastian Stan got a fake tattoo of his mother and she loved it

Sebastian Stan got a mother of a fake tattoo for his upcoming movie.

The 36-year-old “Avengers: Infinity War” star stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday night to promote his upcoming movie and shed some light on what it was like growing up the only child of a superstitious Romanian mother.

“When she calls me I immediately pick up the phone and say, ‘Please, don’t,’” Stan said with a sigh. ”’Cause its always about some dream that she’s had.”

Sebastian’s mother is unlikely to stop worrying about her son as long as he keeps booking roles in action-packed films.

In his new movie, “Destroyer,” in which he co-stars alongside Nicole Kidman, Stan got to trade Bucky Barnes’ metal arm for the dusty jeans and dirty tank top of a seedy undercover cop who infiltrates a California gang.

“Any time that happens I’m very happy,” he said excitedly. “So I said, ‘Alright, well, let’s get some tattoos going.’”

The actor wanted the artwork to best reflect his character, so he asked himself what ink he would get if he had a tattoo.

“I feel like this guy would have a giant picture of his mom on his bicep,” Stan said. “So I asked my mom for a bunch of pictures and she sent me these pictures and then I got one on my bicep.”

Hoping to freak his worrisome mother out, Stan sent her a picture of his fake tattooed bicep.

“I sent this to her … but the only thing she texted me back was, ‘Wow, I look really great!’” he said.

While on “Kimmel,” Stan also got the chance to debunk rumors he will become the next Captain America after the next “Avengers” movie.

“No, no no,” he said. “Not really, no. It’s usually like, like a dream … it’s sort of … people might mention something but it’s…we never go that way.”
