Ewan McGregor's divorce heats up over spousal support
Ewan McGregor‘s divorce is getting uglier.
Although there isn’t a court order requiring McGregor to pay his
estranged wife, Eve Mavrakis, child support, he has been; however, in
new court documents, the “Winnie the Pooh,” star claims he’s paying too
much, The Blast reported. Mavrakis, however, feels he isn’t paying
enough.
McGregor filed for divorce in January after 22 years of marriage. The
couple has four kids together: Clara, 22, Jamyan, 16, Esther, 16, and
Anouk, 7. Their divorce came after he was caught kissing his “Fargo”
co-star, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, whom Clara referred to as a “piece of
trash.”
McGregor is seeking joint custody of their three youngest children,
while Mavrakis wants sole care with visiting rights for him.
“It’s disappointing and upsetting but my main concern is our four children are OK,” Mavrakis said after the split.
